酒店行業(yè)是一個(gè)長(zhǎng)盛不衰的基礎(chǔ)性行業(yè)，無(wú)論社會(huì)怎么發(fā)展，吃穿住行四大基礎(chǔ)行業(yè)肯定是需求最旺盛也是最穩(wěn)定的行業(yè)。酒店的管理層次一般都呈金字塔形式，從塔底到塔頂，由寬到窄。管理的幅度則是越往上層，管理難度越大，管理幅度越往下層，管理的幅度越小。國(guó)內(nèi)比較常見(jiàn)的酒店管理是直線職能制管理，在該管理體制中，任何一級(jí)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、管理人員、服務(wù)員都要明確自己的業(yè)務(wù)范圍、工作職責(zé)及本人應(yīng)該具有的工作技能和知識(shí)。同時(shí)國(guó)內(nèi)的休閑旅游的市場(chǎng)在未來(lái)10年內(nèi)也可以看的到是一個(gè)飛速發(fā)展的階段。

昆士蘭大學(xué)與企業(yè)合作緊密，酒店管理本科與碩士課程都有選修的實(shí)習(xí)課程，碩士課程最后一年有必修的實(shí)習(xí)課程。課程設(shè)置上注重理論與實(shí)踐結(jié)合，培養(yǎng)實(shí)用型人才。此類(lèi)涵蓋實(shí)習(xí)的課程對(duì)同學(xué)們未來(lái)的就業(yè)更有利。

入學(xué)要求： 高考分?jǐn)?shù)一本線以上，Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) English, Mathematics A or any combination of Mathematics A, B or C.

語(yǔ)言要求：IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6. For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19. TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5. Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands. BEP - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills. CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands. OET is not accepted.
