今天要給大家介紹一個新興專業(yè)-TESOL專業(yè)，即Teaching English to speakers of other languages，也就是英語非母語教學(xué)。
通俗的說，你選了這個專業(yè)就得用英文給老外（母語不是英語的人）授課了！
TESOL是“Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages” 的縮寫，中文翻譯是“對外英語教學(xué)” 。作為證書課程來學(xué)習(xí)，TESOL證書課程內(nèi)容已經(jīng)被國際上100多個國家的8000多所學(xué)校認(rèn)可。
TESOL證書持有者可以在全球范圍內(nèi)從事英語作為第二外語教學(xué)(ESL，English as a Second Language)，其含金量和認(rèn)可度很大，可以作為國際公認(rèn)的國際英語教師資格證書和英語教學(xué)行業(yè)職業(yè)資格的權(quán)威國際證明。
申請有什么要求?
1、這個專業(yè)申請來說相對比較容易。對相關(guān)專業(yè)背景一般沒有特殊的要求，雅思成績要求也相對比較低，一般6.5分(小分6分)就可以啦，而且學(xué)費(fèi)相對便宜一些。

工作內(nèi)容是什么?

-使用各種教學(xué)方法包括講座和視頻示范教授學(xué)生的英語語言技能；

-設(shè)計和制作教材，并改進(jìn)現(xiàn)有教材；

-分析、記錄進(jìn)度并向其他班的老師、家長和學(xué)生報告進(jìn)度；
就業(yè)前景怎么樣呢?
畢業(yè)生的就業(yè)方向大致有4類：教師、出版、研究、政府職員。
